For our second series of reproduction games we chose the eve-so-popular Earthbound 0 for the NES. We’re obviously using the English ROM, but it’s fused with the original Japanese play mechanics. Which is to say it’s harder then the US version that we never had, but were supposed to get.
Anyway, enough with the blah blah, here are some pics:
• CAD built cartridge shell is 100% original design.
• Floating Earth medallion “magically” hovers in the center cutout.
• Brand new color-matched rear warning label with UV resistant coating.
• Deep scarlet and off white paint.
• All new cover art printed on archival paper using archival inks, placed in a sturdy plastic case to protect your investment.
They’re up on the site, so feel free to check em out! We’re currently out of stock, but will be making more ASAP! Unlike the Zelda sets, we plan to produce as many of these as possible for as long as possible.
Again, thanks to all of you for the patience while I try and get life with a 8-week early baby sorted out!
I’ve got some new, simpler packaging in the spirit of getting these processed and shipped as soon as humanly possible. They should start shipping this weekend!
I’ll be making a quick installation video as per the many requests. Don’t worry, they’re super easy to install, it just requires that you apply it to a good, clean surface. I’ve started including a prep-wipe to help you folks get your micro nice and clean before installation.
I’ve also got a few custom micros brewing using these faceplates (like the Kirby mod). I’ll have pics of those and the faceplates themselves ASAP!
I’ve had many, MANY requests for rechargeable battery packs for the GBA units that I mod and sell. I haven’t had much time to work on a service/product yet, but I did pick up a few of these and would like to offer them to some of you who’ve been asking about such a thing.
These are the Japanese part number combo AGB-003 & AGB-004 (battery pack and charger). I’ve got one of these for myself and I love it! Plus, it’s an original Nintendo part, so you know the quality is there.
These come packed in the usual wiggy manner and will look great on the shelf next to your RCG GBA light+
Send me a message if you’d like one. I’ve got 3, and I don’t imagine they’ll sit here for very long. $30 + shipping will get one.
So these are what I came up with for the next round. I’d love to hear what you guys and gals think before I spend the big $$$ to order a batch. I plan on ordering a lot more of the most popular designs from the last round as well, so don’t fret if you’re holding out for one of those designs.
First up, The Hyrule Special. I wanted to do something really unique for this one since it’s by far and away my own personal favorite Nintendo franchise. What will make this so special is the triforce itself. It’s gold leaf. Yes. Real gold leaf.
So, these aren’t gonna be cheap. I need to know from you folks whether or not going all out like this is worth some extra $$$. I don’t have an exact price yet, but will soon. I also plan on special packaging (big shock, right?) for them.
And these little guys should be pretty self-explanatory, I just want to hear some feedback from all of ya’.
So, let me know what you think. I’d like to place an order ASAP since I’ve got quite a few people who’ve already put deposits down for the older designs and some have done so for their own, unique designs
So, I’m getting closer to competing the initial repro offering from RCG. Let me tell you that these have more love and hard work poured into them than just about anything else I’ve done up to this point, and I’ve got a ton more to do.
Off to get a much needed makeover.
Yup, first offering will be limited to just 5 sets. Anymore and I don’t think I’d ever finish them.
More to come…
