I know a lot of you are interested in knowing when we will have more faceplates available so thought I would drop you an update. We have designs in the prototype phase right now. When we get our hands on these and check to make sure quality is high, we will approve a large production run of our old designs and new ones. So hang in there, and feel free to post here about what designs you would like to see. 🙂

Hmmm, well..
Most limited edition Zelda console bundles have the usual black shell look with gold accented Hylian text.
May I propose a faceplate that does that?

i never got a reply to a suggestion i made through e-mail, so here it is again:
premium versions.
current faceplates apparently frequently have imperfections in their “window”, which can distract you from the game.
perhaps you could get a few printed with a hole instead of the window, and put a thin transparent sheet of plastic(like a screen protector for phones) in its place.
i’d definitely get another classic GB styled faceplate if it came with a thin plastic window instead of the current 1-part design.(even if it included a small assembly fee on top of the price of current faceplates)
i had to cut up the classic GB faceplate i bought a few months ago, because the “scar” on the screen was too distracting.
it’s usable for me, but the edge around the screen isn’t smooth now and the screen is unprotected.

Hard to say. We’re still working on a new method, so we haven’t put too much thought into new designs lately.
