Sorry for the delay, I got most of these shipped out today. Thanks to all you lovely folks out there I am SWAMPED! I ran out of room at my workspace and these things are spilling out all over the place. Onto the couch they go!
I ran into a few of hiccups with the faceplates. 1st, the Megaman plates have a printing error that, well, you can see here. No worries, a new corrected batch is on its way and should be here by Tuesday.
2nd, there are a couple of international orders. I need to start checking with you folks BEFORE invoicing. I’ll have to re-calculate shipping costs and send a revised invoice to my international customers. If the price doesn’t jive with you, don’t worry, your payments are 100% refundable.
3rd, there was an issue with clarity of the lens, and thanks to a local customer, I was able to spot it before they shipped (it was hard to see until they are installed, at which point it becomes REALLY obvious). The problem has been resolved and won’t be an issue in the future. But, it did mean that I had to spend a little more time on them. They’re looking fantastic now. I just took care of said local customer’s micro, and we were both really happy with the results 🙂

Rose Colored Gaming 
I was going to ask about the screen — whether it covers it or goes around it — but I was also wondering if these are full-fledged, standalone faceplates (i.e. snap in like originals) or like stick-on skins for existing fp’s? Also is that like a gel texture (squishy) or more like a case badge (harder)?

Covers everything, just like the original faceplates. They are affixed with adhesive, so they’re semi-permanent. They can be removed (which I figured out yesterday) without damage, but it takes a little work. They are resin-based, so they are softer. Not squishy so much, but soft to the touch.

Cool, thanks for the details! Sounds far more scratch resistant than the originals. My suggested design for a future batch is for black with this mega man in the corner… and maybe blue buttons to match 😉

Why am I guessing that youre hand-polishing the lens… When these are made, is it a combination of a clear acrylic lens and the colored surround, molded together?

I’m not. I’m just removing the adhesive from the lens area. I was putting a clear polyester film under the adhesive, but since the adhesive is applied by hand, small imperfections become a huge, noticeable flaws. It wasn’t an issue with most, but a handful had this issue, so now I just remove the adhesive from all of them. It’s a better, simpler solution to be honest.
